North-Eastern Coast:
Located at about 23 kilometers from Porlamar and with a 3 kilometer-long bay, is the most visited, popular and pampered of all due to its large tourist development. Its fine sand is sown with coconut trees that provide a pleasant shade, under which many food kiosks offer fried fish, lobsters, oysters, and a great variety of tropical drinks. These kiosks also offer beach chairs and sunshades for rent, as well as restroom services.
If you decide to fly a micro-light air craft, the runway is just in front of the beach and you will have the most spectacular view of this immense paradise. If you love to take risks and fill your vacation with adventure, you can rent the parachute services and fly tied by a rope to a motorboat.
Parguito, is a beach with high vegetation and strong waves. It is popular due to its strong waves, which makes it suitable for surfing. National and international surfing championships have been held here. You will find beach chairs and shades for rent offered by the kiosks located in front of the beach.
Guacuco: is located on the way to Manzanillo. It is almost 5 km long with a fine reddish sand and oceanic waves. Here, you will find sunshade and beach chair rental services, as well as seafood restaurants.
Manzanillo: is a beautiful bay of serene waters and about 500 meters long, the most northern beach of the island. It is common to see, in the morning, fishermen dragging their nets full of fish brought from the sea to the shore and then classifying, weighting and carrying their catch.
Puerto Viejo: is a small beach, about 400 meters long, located at 2.5 kilometers from Pedro González. It has oceanic waves, high vegetation and fine sand, where you can relax and also practice sailing, windsurfing, skiing and fishing. It is considered by tourists as one of the most attractive beaches in the island.
Puerto Cruz: is located at Gómez District, ½ km away from Pedro González. It is a deep-coast beach with white sand, strong waves, and palm trees. Here, you will find the best dunes in the island.
La Galera:is a beautiful bay, about 459 meters long, with high vegetation, low waves and fine sand, where you can enjoy the most wonderful sunsets.
Juangriego: is located to the North of Juan Griego, Marcano District, with moderate waves, short vegetation, and fine sand. You can find kiosks, parking, and vendors. You can practice diving, sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, and fishing.
La Guardia: is located at Antonio Díaz District and is about 2.5 kilometers long. It has an impressive accumulation of seashells and multicolored boulders, which is a unique case among the beaches in Margarita. You can practice windsurfing and water skiing.
