Cubagua:
Just a few fishermen live in the beautiful Cubagua Island. There are no constructions and not a lot of tourists, just a blue sea, some “peñeros” (small boats), several improvised “rancherías” (small shanty houses), and, of course, the ruins of the old city of Nueva Cadiz, the first pearl exploitation center in South America.
